Kraków in a nutshell

3 Days in Kraków

Why?

Because it’s a unique, fascinating, magical place…

Kraków is more than just Wawel, the Rynek, pretzels and cheap beer. It’s also the spells of Sir Twardowski, the curse of Casimir Jagiellon, Bohemianism, and also the story of Karol Kot (“the Vampire of Kraków”), Stanisław Pyjas (anticommunist activist possibly murdered by the security services), and hundreds of other beautiful, sad, amusing and tragic tales hidden in every narrow street and historic townhouse…

Although we are well aware that three days is too little time to get to know a city with as rich a tradition as Kraków’s, we believe that even such a brief visit will leave you with many unforgettable moments, as well as the satisfaction of getting to know a European Cultural Capital. We hope that by showing you Kraków’s most important locations – from the millennial historic buildings to those which have borne witness to recent history – we’ll succeed in encouraging you to get to know our beautiful city better and making sure that you will always want to come back.
